However, sleep alone will not rejuvenate your skin and remove those wrinkles. Modern medicine and scientific breakthroughs have radically advanced the success of anti aging beauty products now available to you.

Reclaim vs. Meaningful beauty help!?

Posted under Anti Aging Beauty Products by Marianne Rousseau on Tuesday 1 September 2009

I have been watching infomercials and i was wondering if there was anyone that uses reclaim age braker by victoria principal or meaingful beauty by cyndi crawford. I was wondering which one was better i haven’t really started aging yet and it sounds like reclaim is basicly reducing wrinkles and meaningful beauty is about prevention. I was just wondering if anyone had success stories or any info or any other products that would be good for anti aging. I am looking for which one makes your skin looks better and brighter! thank you i will reward points!

Sorry I haven’t tried either one but you might want to look here

advice on nighttime beauty regimen?

Posted under Anti Aging Beauty Products by Marianne Rousseau on Sunday 30 August 2009

I am 31 and have no nightly beauty regimen at all, but I want to start doing something to combat aging and to help clear out my pores effectively. I’m also getting married in a few months and would like my skin to be in the best possible condition.

What products would you recommend for nightly use for anti-aging, cleansing, etc?

Thanks!

nivea!

I’m not sure if it’s the right category for this question but I’m writing a paper about how the problems with advertising can get fixed. Especially cosmetic advertising and anti-aging products because they promote the idea that aging is bad and they give a negative image about aging and they put women under pressure and have made a "beauty ideal" that basically says if u look like it you’re normal or attractive if u don’t you’re ugly and will be neglected from the society. Something like this. What r some solutions?? Please be specific…I have to write a solution paper and i need some ideas…I appreciate your help. Thank you

The ‘Dove’ company are attempting to address this issue of perverted beauty ideals, you might find these sites interesting, particularly the video. I first saw it as an example of effective advertising at a Uni lecture.

Have you ever tried Oil of Olay facial beauty bar?

Posted under Anti Aging Beauty Products by Marianne Rousseau on Wednesday 26 August 2009

Last year I bought two bars, and have really liked this product. They came in a burgundy box. The bar itself was pink with exfoliate beads. I don’t recall the specific name other than it was Oil of Olay, an anti aging beauty bar for the face. I cannot find it now. I wondered if anyone else has used it and can no longer find it as well. I checked Oil of Olay website and cannot find the product. In case it is no longer on the market, what facial cleanser do you recommend for ages 50+ for removal of makeup and will moisturize nicely without clogging pores?
No, it was not Dove soap. I haven’t bought Dove for many years.

A hundred years ago I tried Oil of Olay, and my doctors called it Oil of Acne. I am wondering if you were using the Dove 50+ soap? I am too lazy to open the box that I just found and placed in the bathroom at the ery far end of the house…

Okay, I went to the bathroom, but I don’t know where I put it. (nothing logical) Anyway, I am sure that you got Dove. I bought it when I wanted to be one of those lovely descreetly nude, full figure woman model. Then I decided God wouldn’t like that. So, I was uses the products, but keeping my body to myself!

I hope this helps.

What are some solutions to this problem??? Please tell me what you thinkkkk please please please !?

Well, it would be pretty hard to get people thinking that things like aging are not ‘ugly’ or anything, because today’s beauty ideal is youth, and young skin. You’d have to completely change today’s society. Things like changing the fashion industry would be a start, because who came up with the idea that for example being really skinny is preferable? The fashion industry, because they wanted models that are super skinny. Same with the models that are rising today; they are sort of ‘alien-looking’ (for example Gemma Ward, known for her alien face). So if you changed the fashion industry, it would change the way our world sees people, and decides if they are beautiful or not. Then media and advertising would change, to match those new ideas of beauty.

You probably wouldn’t be able to get people thinking that things like being obese or bad skin etc. are beautiful, because humans automatically think that anyway, because it’s a sign of unhealthiness.
You probably be able to get people to think that things like a big nose, or small eyes, or wrinkles are beautiful though.

Hope I helped!

Does anyone really stop to enjoy life anymore?

Posted under Anti Aging Beauty Products by Marianne Rousseau on Sunday 16 August 2009

It seems like there’s so much to do, and so many "products" that we buy, to occupy our time, school, work, getting ahead, bills, obsessions, shopping, anti-aging products, video games, exercize equipment, so much out there that we involve ourselves with 24/7, and no one seems to just relax, let it all go, and enjoy just being here, in the moment, and genuinely enjoying life.

Is that passe?

Everything seems to be about bettering yourself, self-improvement, achievement, money, business, even people that spend their time worrying about everything from what other people think, to their own self-conscious whims, to cars, to this to that,

it’s like a non-stop rollercoaster of …action.

Enjoying life nowadays is defined by power, status, beauty, sex/drugs (even though alot of this can be great, I must admit), it’s not simple, and it’s not really innocent either. It has a competitive edge to it.

Are we humans just impossible?

Does anyone really stop to enjoy life anymore?

a human being is the mst corupt being and most confused being on earth we never seem to have enough nomatter how loaded and are never satisfied with anything we still want more and more evryday
