I noticed when girls are young, all they do is go to the mall to buy cloths, makeup and perfume. Have conversations about who is cute, and talk about what there going to wear the next day. Then repeat the process the next day. When they get out of school and get into there late 20’s and early thirty’s and realize that immature mentality doesnt’ work anymore and there not so cute. They go on anti depressants. Is it just me or do other people see a pattern here?

Medicating a ‘problem’ is always easier and more profitable than fixing it.

Hello everyone! I was just wondering how other girl my age beautify themselves. I am 17 and here is my beauty routine…

1. St. Ives facial cleanser and makeup remover
2. anti-aging face cream (never to early to start!)
3. vitamin C eye gel (rejuvenates eyes and reduces puffiness)
4. Shimmery body lotion
4. Makeup – foundation, bronzer, eyeshadow primer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, a small amount of pink blush, and shimmery chapstick or plain vaseline.
5. St.Ives facial cleanser and makeup remover before bed
6. Night face cream

Also, before I shower I apply olive oil all over my body, even in my hair. And once or twice a week I make my own facial mask – cooked oatmeal and honey. Oh, and lots of water and daily vitamins. What are your beauty tips and secrets???

Morning:

1) Wash face with Garnier face wash.
2) Garnier liquid toner.
3) Anti acne cream
4) Anti heavy undereye bags cream
4) Vaseline on lips

Evening:
1) Garinier Routine Repeat.
2) Olive oil in hair for 4 mins
3) Wash hair with Joico and Bedhead
4) Fruit mush on face for 15 mins
5) Wash face.
6) Night facial cream

Vitimins water and ofcourse fruits and vegetables

Last week, a woman who just happens to be a close friend of my BOSS, recruited me to sell Avon So, looking for a way to earn money part-time, I signed up. After signing up, I was given a bunch of samples. They bombed on my skin, causing major welts and breakouts. In doing further research, I found that aside from their anti-aging products, their makeup, etc. do not have the best reputation. That is ONE thing that makes me ashamed to sell Avon.

The 2nd drawback is the ordering process on their web site. It is highly convoluted, and I do not want to embarrass myself in front of my list of friends by sending them there to buy. Avon will not allow anyone to sell online except on the Avon site. The 3rd drawback is that unless I make a certain profit on the web site, and I ONLY want to sell on the web, I will not receive money-just credit for more Avon product.

Also, most of the people I know are not Avon types. I know I should have researched all of this before. Help!!!

If you want out gracefully simply be honest and tell the person that you discovered you are getting allergic reactions to the products. Nobody in their right mind will want you selling their products while you are covered in rashes! They will certainly understand why you want out and they will probably hope that you don’t mention it to anyone.

I have combination, possibly oily skin. my cheeks are red, and it shows through my foundation. I am fair, and I have trouble covering my acne scars. Im young, so I dont need anything anti aging or anti wrinkle. Im also very busy and I dont have much time to reapply often. I usually use a liquid (covergirl true blend), with a powder (either loreal bare naturale or physicians formula) and sometimes a matte by itself (rimmel i think?) i have always had trouble with my foundation and any help would be appreciated

Use cover girl clean make up-there’s one that control oil. Rimmel breaks me out so you might want to be aware of that.

I just had full lips, eyeliner & eyebrows done. The post-procedure instructions say not to use anyhing that contain exfoliants, Retin -A, AHA’s, or other acids or anti-aging products on the pigmented skin. I usually use Noxema twice a day. Any Suggestions on what kind of cleansers are safe to use.

Cetaphil is a very gentle cleasner. You should try that.

I’ve been thinking about buying a bunch of clinique, because I heard it was good but now I’m not so sure.
Alot of people on here also talk about olay and there are a few who swear by neutrogena.
I currently use a light face wash and wear a 45 spf coppertone moisturizing sunblock under my makeup everyday.

I’m 20 and want the very best for my skin and would be willing to pay what ever the cost for a great product. Please help!

my friend gave me a Christian Dior eye set(mascara,eye makeup remover,anti aging serum,and so on….) they were all in vacumm but the mascara is dryyyyyyy I checked the expire date on it,its ok!

Take it back to any department store that carries Christian Dior and show them them that it hasn’t reached the expiration and that it is dry. They should gladly exchange it. It doesn’t matter where it was purchased since it was a gift, there is no way for you to know where it was purchased. Good Luck!

I am not anti-pageant. I have seen numerous kids pageants where they are not allowed to wear makeup, have to wear normal party dresses, and can’t have hairpieces, fake teeth or eyelashes or they get disqualified.

But I saw a show last night and I couldn’t believe one of the little girls. If they hadn’t said her age, I wouldn’t have known how old she was. If not for her size, I would have thought she was a teenager. She was only six, and I swear she had a hairpiece on, about an inch of makeup on her face, and fake teeth! I am a dental assistant and I wouldn’t even know where to begin to make fake teeth for a six year old. This show had Paris Hilton on it, and even she commented on the little girl looking like an adult.

What are these pageants judging? I know alot of pageants judge natural charm, beauty, personality and talent, but in a pageant like this little girl is in, what can they judge, when it is all fake?

Someone on this show actually made a comment about this little girl getting spray tans. I’m sorry, but why on earth does a little 6 year old girl, or boy, for that matter need a tan?

You have a stronger stomache than I do. I couldn’t get through more than five minutes of spray-tanning 5 year olds, dancing pushy moms, and the plasticized faces of these little girls. It made me physically ill and I had to turn it off.

Those girls didn’t even look like real people anymore. I looked at my daughter, and wondered what it would be like for her to experience this – to have to sit through days of prepping to be "beautiful enough" for the pageant… and what would be going through her little head on regular days? How would she know that she was beautiful, then, too?

When you start to think about all the emotional and mental effects on the child, and the what the parents must be like to endure (and even force!) such pageants, it becomes quite frightening, and really quite sad.

I wanna get like dream matte mousse foundation to conceal undereye circles or some blemishes. She got mad at me saying that 13 is too young for makeup, which i know.
And she also says that it’ll mess up my skin.
But then she lets me use this anti-aging cream for all sorts of thing…BARELY for dark circles! HOW IS THAT NOT GOING TO MESS UP MY SKIN?

and then shes all – OOOH but you can wear eyeliner!
I’m just using the foundation thing for some blemishes and undereyes!
She bought ROC for me, which is like 22 dollars, and the foundation is 50% OFF!

The reason i want to conceal dark circles so badly is because (theyre not that bad) my friend said i have panda-eyes. and people have asked me if im getting enough sleep and its really annoying me!

makeup damaging your skin is a myth i’ve seen a dermatologist for that he said as long as you wear sunscreen underneath it will not damage your skin

i put it on, mostly a moisturizer/foundation and two layers of powder (besides the rest of the face) and i conceal the blemishes that i have.
by fourth period, my skin begins to get shiny, and i reapply a mineral veil, but when i get picked up from school, it is shiny all over again and it looks like i never put any makeup on at all…!
i use primer (samples…smashbox photo finish, purminerals colour correcting primer – peach) and my foundation is Olay Definity (anti-aging…though i’m 13, i love it) as well as bareMinerals by Bare Escentuals. I "seal" my makeup with the bareMinerals Mineral Veil, and reapply once a day, but it doesn’t help!

So, I would appreciate it if you helped me with:
- Lasting, full coverage foundation (what works for you?)
- GREAT concealer that lasts all day (i don’t mind if it’s more than ten dollars…i was thinking about "boiing"?)
- Makeup sealer / longlasting finish, whatever to make it last all day (I was thinking about Mario Badescu’s hydrating facial spray for added moisture or to spray over makeup to last)
- Oil absorbent powder (I was thinking about Mario Badescu’s Silver Powder…supposed to help with acne as well)

i use smash box photo finisher for primer then mary kay concealer and Mary Kay Foundation then use the bare Esentuals for powder. That last me allday. I use the eye primer from bare esentuals on my eyes and it keeps my lids from smudging. My eyes get oily and it works.

I do not reccommend Boiing though it didn’t last very long on my skin. I heard the hydrating facial spray works good too.
